Gelert Charcoal

Gelert in Charcoal is precise, architectural and full of composure. The pattern takes its cue from traditional motifs - repeated forms and hand-carved detailing - but modernises them through negative space and softened edges. In charcoal, the contrast is clear and strong, though never stark.

This is a design for refined spaces that benefit from rhythm and order. Printed on pure linen in white, the deep grey tone becomes more architectural, with the base fabric adding lift and natural texture. It’s especially effective in light-filled rooms where contrast works with scale, not against it - think dining areas, inner hallways or study spaces.
